.......a journey called life

This morning, I was both excited and nervous. Excited because I was more than eager to show my work to the leadership team and nervous because......uhmmm..well, it was a review and wasn't I supposed to be nervous (a little bit of nervousness helps, by the way...makes you prepare better).

I went to the conference room at 8:15 AM and set up my laptop with the projector. There was no murphy. Even the printer was working this morning (may be because I took all the print outs needed last night :-)). Anyway, I quickly ran through my slides to check if everything was looking the way I want them to. Sharp at 8:25 AM, people started pouring in and my nervousness quotient had a momentary spike once again. I recollected my ideas and as they waited for the last guy to arrive, I was calmly waiting for the word "GO". At around 8:35, I heard those words and I dont remember what happened in the next hour and a half.

I distinctly remember the clapping and unless that is customary, it signals it was good. Next week, I will work on some post-review items and will bid adieu on Friday. It was a memorable experience with its own set of anxieties, excitements, frustrations and achievements. In retrospect, I know I loved it and would love to live it again!
